I started my career as a travel advisor 15 years ago, using my background as a physical therapist to help make travel arrangements for handicapped travelers. Since then I have traveled extensively around the world, and specialize in cruising and land tours. Meredith specializes in services to, for and about Africa, African Culture and the Africa Diaspora. Focused exclusively on leisure travelers with a special interest in culture, as well as fun vacations. Her most recent travels have carried her to Russia, Turks and Caicos, Brazil and Ghana. The Ghana tour adds to the list of African countries visited and studied, including Benin, Togo, the Gambia, Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania, and most of Southern Africa. Ethiopia and Egypt will be added to this list as she escorts this years group to Africa. She is a Master Kenya Authorized Travel Specialist. She is also Certified in selected Caribbean destinations, and Disney World. Annually, Meredith escorts small groups to various destinations in selected countries focusing on the African customs and cultures of that region. Additional destinations of travel and study include mainland China and Europe. The hardest part of selling cruises has always been knowing which cruise line and which ship are right for which client. This is one of Ruth's areas of expertise. Whether around the corner, in the Caribbean, or around the world, Ruth can plan your pre or post cruise packages as well as your cruise.

Although Ruth started her travel career with a major bus tour operator, she came to Post Haste Travel to be the manager of Forever Cruising, its cruise division. Since 1991 she has increased her cruise knowledge which is evident in the accuracy of putting her clients on the "right ship".

I have had a passion for traveling for as long as I can remember.  On the trips cross-country in the family station wagon, I looked out in wonder and amazement at our beautiful country.  Seeing dozens of National Parks from the canvas tent which my dad pitched night after night, my vision of the world was expanding at an early age.  I gradually moved up from the third row back seat, in that station wagon, to the coveted front passenger seat as official Navigator to my Dad before I was a teen.  There my place has remained.

Over the years, I have planned trips, excursions, cruises and weekend getaways for work related projects, clients, our family, extended family, friends and many of you.  I have traveled as far away as China and Tahiti, Europe and the Middle East, cruises, ski and land based trips, and dozens of local based Florida weekend jaunts.  My presence in the navigator’s seat is now solidified.
