We have just returned from a trip to Equador and the Galapagos
Islands. We stayed 4 nights at La Mirage Hotel and Spa in Citacachi and loved
it. Wonderful food and spa services. Excellent service from the staff. We enjoyed
touring the area. We spent 7 nights onboard the Eclipse-a 45 passenger vessel.
We enjoyed every minute of the voyage. The naturalists that escorted us on the
islands were extremely knowledgable and very personable. The crew really went
our of the their way to make sure we had a great time. The food was really good
and everything was well run. We loved snorkeling with the sea lions and being
so close to the birds. We were able to sit on rocks and watch the mating dance
of the Albatross from about 2 feet away. It was a great trip and I can't wait
to go back.
